Geoff Blanning

Head of Emerging Market Debt and Commodities (54)

Experience: He joined Schroders in 1998 and developed the Commodity and Currency investment teams. He previously managed Global Bond Funds at N M Rothschild and Bankers Trust before developing and managing Morgan Grenfell’s first Emerging Market Debt Fund in 1993.
Responsibilities: He is responsible for the investment performance of the Emerging Market Debt, Commodities and Currencies team within the Investment division.


Stewart Carmichael

Chief Technology Officer (51)

Experience: He joined Schroders in March 2015 as Group Head of IT. Prior to joining Schroders, he was Chief Technology Officer for JP Morgan Corporate & Investment Bank in Asia from 2009 to 2014. From 1993 to 2008 Stewart held numerous senior leadership positions during a 16 year career at Merrill Lynch.
Responsibilities: Chief Technology Officer for the Group.

Karl Dasher

Karl Dasher

Head of North America and Co-Head of Fixed Income (47)

Experience: He joined Schroders in 2007 as Global Head of Product and became Head of Fixed Income in October 2008. He previously worked at SEI Investments in various investment roles, including Chief Investment Officer between 2004 and 2007.
Responsibilities: He is responsible for the Group’s operations in North America and is also Co-Head of Fixed Income.


Lieven Debruyne

Head of Asia Pacific (47)

Experience: He joined Schroders in London in 2000 as Head of Asian Investment Product before moving to Hong Kong in 2005, when he had held the position of Chief Executive of Schroder Investment Management (Hong Kong) as well as Head of Intermediary Business, Asia Pacific. Prior to joining Schroders, he worked for Mees Pierson Capital Management and for Fortis Investments. He held various positions as Asian Equities fund manager before becoming Chief Investment Officer in 1998.
Responsibilities: Mr. Debruyne is the Chief Executive Officer for Asia Pacific. He is responsible for the strategy, management and oversight of Schroders businesses in Asia Pacific.


Emma Holden

Global Head of HR (42)

Experience: She joined Schroders in 2007 and was appointed Global Head of HR in November 2014.  Prior to joining Schroders, she held various roles at Corus Group including Investor Relations Director.  She qualified as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1998. 
Responsibilities: She is Global Head of HR, responsible for working with senior management on the issues that affect our people and the development of talent throughout the business.

Phillippe Lespinard

Co-Head of Fixed Income (52)

Experience: He joined Schroders in 2010 as Chief Investment Officer for Fixed Income. He was previously a partner at Brevan Howard and Chief Investment Officer at BNP Paribas Asset Management.
Responsibilities: He is Co-Head of Fixed Income within the Investment division.


Richard Mountford

Global Head of Product (58)

Experience: He joined Schroders in 1980 as a UK equities analyst and held a number of investment roles before becoming Regional Managing Director for South East Asia in 1991. In 2004, he was appointed Head of UK Distribution and in 2008 became Global Head of Intermediary Sales.
Responsibilities: He is responsible for developing product strategy and managing our diverse product range.


Nicky Richards

Global Head of Equities (50)

Experience: She began her investment career at Schroders in 1987 as an assistant fund manager. She went on to hold a number of senior roles in the firm including Head of Australia and Head of Hong Kong. She was subsequently appointed Group Investment Officer of Fidelity International and Chief Executive and Chief Investment Officer of MLC Investment Management in Australia. She re-joined Schroders in 2014 as Global Head of Equities and was appointed to the GMC. She was also appointed non-executive Chairman of RWC Partners in March 2016.
Responsibilities: She is responsible for the Equities business within the Investment division.


Andrew Ross

Global Head of Wealth Management (57)

Experience: He joined Schroders in 2013 having been Chief Executive of Cazenove Capital Management since 2001. Prior to that he was Chief Executive of HSBC Asset Management (Europe) Limited between 1998 and 2001.
Responsibilities: He is responsible for the UK, Channel Islands and Asia within Wealth Management.


Carolyn Sims

Chief Financial Officer of Wealth Management (51)

Experience: She joined Schroders in 2013 as Chief Financial Officer of Cazenove Capital Management.  Prior to joining Cazenove Capital Management in 2007 she was Finance Director at Lazard.
Responsibilities: She is responsible for all operational functions within Wealth Management in addition to her role as Chief Financial Officer of Wealth Management.


John Troiano

Global Head of Distribution (57)

Experience: He joined Schroders in 1981 as an investment analyst and became Head of the US equity team in 1988. He established Schroders’ emerging market equity capability in 1991. He was appointed Global Head of Institutional Business in 2003 and became Deputy Head of Distribution in September 2012.
Responsibilities: He is responsible for the Group’s global Institutional business within Distribution. As Deputy Head of Distribution, he shares responsibility for the Distribution division, including sales, marketing, product development and product management.


Howard Trust

General Counsel (62)

Experience: He joined Schroders in 2003 from Barclays where he held various roles including Group General Counsel and Board Secretary.
Responsibilities: He is responsible for the Group’s Compliance, Legal and Governance functions.
