Investment objective

The fund aims to provide an income distribution of 4% to 6% per annum and capital growth over a market cycle by investing in a diversified range of assets and markets worldwide. The fund aims to provide a volatility (a measure of how much the fund's returns may vary over a year) of between 8-16% per annum.

Investment Policy

The fund will invest directly in equities of companies, bonds of companies, governments and government agencies and currencies in global emerging markets. The fund will also invest indirectly in global emerging markets through funds and derivatives. The fund will not have more than 10% of its assets invested into funds.
The fund aims to provide income and capital growth over the medium to longer term by investing in a broad range of assets of which (in normal market conditions) over two thirds (excluding cash) relate to emerging markets. The country allocation and allocation to asset classes may vary over time.
The fund may also hold cash on deposit or invest in derivatives to achieve the investment objective, to reduce risk or to manage the fund more efficiently.

Distribution Policy

This share class pays a monthly distribution at a fixed rate of 5% per annum of the value per share. The distribution policy is kept under review.
