Q. How can I apply? Can I send my CV and cover letter directly?
A. All applications should be sent online through our dedicated application system. CVs and cover letters sent directly will not be considered. Apply for our graduate or internship programmes.

Q. How long is the recruitment process?
A. Applicants to the 2013 Graduate Development Programme will be notified about their online application at the beginning of December 2012.
Summer Internship applicants will be notified about their online application by the end of February 2013. Find out more about the recruitment process.
Q. Can I apply to more than one programme?
A. No, you will only be considered for the position that you submit an application for. Please thoroughly review the job specifications to ensure you choose appropriately.
Q. Can I apply to different locations?
A. Yes. Schroders is committed to considering all applications submitted.
Q. I am an international student and I require a work visa. Am I still eligible to apply?
A. Yes, however, we cannot advise you on your work eligibility status. We do not reject any candidate because of their need to obtain the appropriate work visa. You are free to apply to any division or region of interest and we will consider your application(s). It should be noted that any offer of employment issued will be subject to immigration approval being obtained prior to your start date with us.

Q. What business areas do the graduate programmes cover?
A. We offer graduate development programmes in the following areas: Investment, Investment Risk, Finance, Private Banking, Distribution (Sales & Marketing), and IT.
Q. What level of education do you require?
A. Applicants to our graduate programmes must have completed or be on course to achieve a minimum of a 2:1 or 1st class degree classification.
Q. What degrees do you look for?
A. We consider applicants from all and any disciplines. You don’t need to have studied finance or economics, but you should be able to demonstrate a strong interest in asset management and in the specific business area you are applying for.
Q. I don’t have any work experience/I have never worked in asset management. Can I apply to the graduate programmes?
A. We believe relevant work experience will help graduates’ understanding of asset management, however this is not essential. Find out if you will be a good fit for Schroders by viewing our interactive preview.
Q. How long are the graduate programmes?
A. Our graduate programmes usually last for 2 years. If you wish to know more about their structure and content please view our overview page.
Q. Is there formal training provided?
A. Yes. On joining our graduate programmes, you will be provided with all the training you need not only throughout the graduate induction, but also through our ongoing development programmes, working towards obtaining relevant certifications. Please check our graduate programme to find out more.
Q. What business areas do the Summer Internship programmes cover?
A. We offer Summer internships in the following areas: Investment, Investment Risk, Finance, Private Bank, Distribution (Sales & Marketing), Property, IT, Legal & Compliance.
Q. What level of education do you require?
A. Our internship programmes are open to 1st, 2nd, and final year undergraduate students. Masters students who plan on pursuing their studies after the internship will also be considered.

A. Yes - Interns receive a formal introduction to the firm, skill workshops such as presentation skills, and lunch sessions from senior managers within the firm.
