To manage investment, PT Schroder Investment Management Indonesia has two teams : the Investment Committee and Investment Management Team.
The Investment Committee directs and supervises the Investment Management Team in implementing day-to-day investment policy and strategy for attainment of investment goal. It holds a meeting at least once a month.
Rupert Rucker
Rupert joined Schroders in London in May 2005 as a Product Manager for the emerging Markets Equity. He moved to Singapore in January 2007 to take up a new position as the Head of Product for Asia Pacific and since July 2008 he has relocated from Singapore and is now based in Tokyo. Before joining Schroders he undertook a number of roles at West LB Asset Management from 1999 to 2004 and he was Director for New Business Development and Client servicing for UK, Europe, Middle East and China when he left. Rupert’s investment career commenced in 1993 with Fleming Investment Management and he became an East European Equity Fund Manager, with responsibility for Russian investments, living in Moscow in 1995 and 1996. Other experience includes four years as an officer in the British Army. He holds an individual licence as Securities and Financial Derivatives Representative, Hong Kong Securities Institute, Investment Management Certificate (IMC). He graduated from University of Reading with a BA (Hons) in Classics.
Michael T. Tjoajadi, ChFC
Michael is a member of the Investment Committee, a graduate from Universitas Hasanuddin with an Insinyur Teknologi Pertanian degree and has the experience in the field of fund management for more than 10 years. His present position is Head of Distribution for Indonesia. Before joining Schroders in 1996, Michael had the experience as an Investment Manager with BII Lend Lease. Michael has an individual license as an Investment Advisor from BAPEPAM by virtue of the decree of the Chairman of BAPEPAM Number: KEP-18/PM-PI/1995 dated April 19, 1995.
The Investment Management Team consists of the following team members:
Kiekie Boenawan, CFA, is the Head of the Investment Management Team and has the experience in the field of fund management for more than 19 years. Kiekie is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University with the degrees of B.Sc and MBA. He is at present the Investment Director. Before joining Schroders in 1997, Kiekie was an Investment Director at Jardine Fleming Nusantara. Kiekie has obtained the Investment Advisor license from BAPEPAM by virtue of the Decision of the Chairman of BAPEPAM Number: KEP-26/PM-PI/1993 dated May 27, 1993.
Ronaldus Gandahusada (Ronni Gandahusada), is a member of the Investment Management Team and has the experience in the field of fund management for more than 19 years, research and financial analysis. He has worked for more than 14.5 years with Schroders. Ronni obtained his degree in Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung and then took his master in Business Banking & Finance at the University of Technology, Sydney. He also has an Investment Advisor license from BAPEPAM by virtue of the Decision of the Chairman of BAPEPAM Number: KEP-32/PM-PI/1995 dated June 19, 1995. Before serving as an Investment Manager at Schroders, Ronni was a research analyst and his present position is as the President Director.
Soufat Hartawan, is a member of the Investment Management Team and has 13 years’ experience in the banking sector especially in the field of Treasury. Soufat is a graduate of the University of Melbourne with the Master of Applied Finance degree and obtained an Investment Manager Representative license from BAPEPAM by virtue of the Decision of the Chairman of BAPEPAM Number KEP-48/PM/IP/WMI/2000 dated September 15, 2000. His present position is as Fixed Income Fund Manager and before joining Schroders in 2001, Soufat’s had the experience as an Investment Manager for 2 years with Manulife Asset Management and he also had working experience with Standard Chartered Bank.
Ni Made Muliartini, is a member of the Investment Management Team and has more than 8 years of experience in the field of Capital Market in Indonesia. She joined Schroders in 2003 as a Research Analyst and start from 2007 she became Equity Fund Manager. Made obtained her degree in economics (Accounting) from the University of Indonesia and has an Investment Manager Representative licence from BAPEPAM by virtue of the decision of the Head of BAPEPAM Number 39/PM/WMI/2003. Before joining Schroders, Made was an equity analyst in a securities company for 3 years.
Herman Tjahjadi, CFA, FRM, is a member of the Investment Management Team and has two year experience in the field of Capital Market in Indonesia. Herman holds an M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and a B.Sc. degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California (USC). He obtained a license as an Investment Manager Representative from BAPEPAM by virtue of the Decree of the BAPEPAM Chairman Number KEP-38/BL/WMI/2008 dated November 25, 2008. His present position is Equity Analyst. Before joining Schroders in 2006, Herman worked as a Fixed Income & Derivatives Specialist Trainer at Reuters Services Indonesia. Prior to Reuters, he had also worked with Citibank Indonesia.
Tjutju Ukim, is a member of the Investment Management Team and has the experience for more than 13 years in the field of Capital Market in Indonesia. Tjutju is a graduate of the University of Eastern Michigan, USA with a B.BA degree. She obtained an Investment Manager Representative license from BAPEPAM by virtue of the Decision of the Chairman of BAPEPAM Number KEP-89/PM/WMI/2004 dated August 30, 2004. She is currently as a Trader and before joining Schroder in 2003, Tjutju had the experience as an Equity Sales for about 3 years and a Fixed Income Dealer for 5 years at Danpac Sekuritas.
