Schroder Real Estate Investment Management (SREIM) is today announcing the appointment of Laurent Dubos as Head of France and Raphaël Berdot as Investment Manager within the real estate team in Paris.
In his new role, Laurent will continue to strengthen the investment team. He will focus on new investment and maximising investment performance across the various funds and client portfolios in France, Belgium and Luxembourg.
Laurent has been the Deputy Head in France for almost two years where he has made a very significant contribution. His strengths and 14 years of experience, in addition to his team’s active management approach and value-add style, have helped generate positive returns in SREIM’s Pan-European strategies and joint ventures in France and Belgium.
Prior to joining SREIM in 2018, Laurent was Managing Director at Woodeum, a French real estate developer. Previously, he worked at AEW Europe, Cleaveland REIM, Unibail-Rodamco and Ernst & Young. Laurent holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the ESSEC Business School in Paris, and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Further strengthening the Paris-based team, Raphaël Berdot has joined as Investment Manager reporting to Laurent. Raphaël brings a wealth of experience in retail and will focus on the management of a diversified portfolio of offices, retail and logistics in France. In addition, he will assist the team in the sourcing and execution of new investment opportunities. Raphaël’s appointment brings the SREIM French team to six professionals.
Prior to joining SREIM, Raphaël was at AEW Europe where he started as Investment Manager focusing on acquisitions of retail, office and residential and then became Senior Asset Manager in charge of a retail portfolio in France and Spain. Previously, he was Asset Manager at CBRE Global Investors from 2010 to 2014. Raphaël holds a degree from the HEC Business School in Paris.
