Why investors are turning to private assets

Schroders' Institutional Investor Study is an annual survey that gathers the views of hundreds of influential investors around the world. Over the past few years, the study has identified a clear trend of rising allocations towards private assets.

Here, Schroders' Group CIO, Johanna Kyrklund, and Global Head of Private Assets, Georg Wunderlin, discuss what is driving the rising use of private assets, areas of particular interest, and what might be holding investors back from even higher allocations.

The views and opinions contained herein are those of Schroders’ investment teams and/or Economics Group, and do not necessarily represent Schroder Investment Management North America Inc.’s house views.
