Schroder Investment Management (Hong Kong) Limited (“Schroders”) announced the appointment of Chris Durack to the newly created role of Head of Distribution, Hong Kong. Chris joined the Schroders Hong Kong office on 1 February, and is responsible for leading the firm’s Hong Kong intermediary sales, institutional sales, and marketing teams.
The creation of the role underscores the continued commitment of Schroders in strengthening its communications with clients. Chris will take charge in strategizing tailored sales and marketing approaches that would appeal to the increasingly sophisticated and shifting preferences of Schroders’ target audience.

Chris joined Schroders in Australia in October 2011 as Director and Head of Product and Distribution. Prior to Schroders he was the Chief Executive Officer of Australian superannuation fund NSW State Super. Before that he held senior roles at two of Australia’s largest fund managers, Perpetual Limited and Challenger Limited. Chris also has asset consulting experience from his time at Mercer and Towers Perrin. He holds a master’s degree in Economics (First-Class Honours) from the University of Sydney, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree (with Honours) from the University of Melbourne.
Chris will report to Lieven Debruyne, CEO of Schroders Hong Kong.
