Schroder Investment Management (Hong Kong) Limited (Schroders) has rolled out an online quiz that helps investors in Hong Kong discover their real investment mindsets. Participants of the “Schroders incomeIQ LITE version” will also have the chance to win a smart watch and a free cup of coffee.
The “Schroders incomeIQ LITE version” is a five-question behavioural survey that asks respondents about their preference and typical action when engaging in certain daily activities. At the end of the survey, respondents will be given an analysis of their investment views and behaviour with suggestions on how they could improve their investment mindset. The test can be accessed through the Schroders dedicated webpage “Mastering the art of steady income”, which provides a wealth of information on income investment.
From now to 6 April, participants can share their quiz results on Facebook to enter a lucky draw for a smart watch worth HK$2,728. In addition, each day during the promotion period, the first 50 survey participants will each be entitled to a coffee e-coupon. Details of the lucky draw and giveaway can be found at www.incomeiq.com.hk (in Chinese language only).
The Chinese language only “Schroders incomeIQ LITE version” quiz is part of Schroders’ effort in educating Hong Kong investors about the importance of investing for long-term stable income. As monetary policy is likely to remain accommodative with short-term interest rates being close to zero, investors need to think about how to maximise their sustainable sources of income in a volatile market. Over the long-run, investment opportunities will originate in different regions and sectors at various times, so investors need to have a global mindset in order to capture the short- and long-term income and growth potentials.
The “Schroders incomeIQ” was developed in partnership with Joe Gladstone, behavioural scientist and PhD researcher at the University of Cambridge, and is a knowledge centre with guides, tips and tools to help investors make more informed investment decisions.
