QEP Global Equities - Investment Update

David Philpotts

David Philpotts

Head of Research, QEP Investment Team

Global equity markets have been remarkably resilient and have continued to climb a wall of worry in recent years. These gains have however been relatively narrow and led by US growth stocks whilst non-US stocks have lagged notably behind, particularly those domiciled in emerging markets. It is a highly uncertain time and a key question facing investors today is whether the higher valuations commanded by US stocks are justified given the expected turn in the US profits cycle. If so, are there more affordable opportunities elsewhere?

Join David Philpotts, for his insights into world equity markets and his views on why a rotation in sources of investment return appears increasingly likely. He will also review performance and positioning for the suite of Schroder QEP portfolios.
