Schroders today announces the appointment of Richard Fox as Head of Public Policy, UK, as Sheila Nicoll, current Head of Public Policy moves towards retirement.
Richard, who will be joining Schroders in January, brings more than 15 years of regulatory experience, spanning a wide range of briefs at the Financial Conduct Authority and its predecessor, the Financial Services Authority (FCA). He has worked at senior levels within the regulator, including a period managing the FCA’s CEO office and, most recently, serving as Interim Director of International.
Richard will work alongside Elisabeth Ottawa who will become Head of Public Policy, Europe, continuing to be based in Brussels. Both will report to Charles Prideaux, Group Head of Strategy and Solutions. Sheila Nicoll, OBE, will remain, in a part-time advisory capacity to support the new team and ensure a smooth transition.
