Schroders today announces the appointment of Philip Chandler as Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Schroder Investment Solutions (SIS).
SIS is an award-winning[1] series of actively-managed Model Portfolios and Multi-Asset funds established by Schroders in 2021. Since inception SIS has experienced robust growth, with assets under management (AUM) now surpassing £6.3 billion[2] as clients have increasingly looked to access this market-leading range.
Philip joined Schroders in 2003 and will maintain his current position as Head of UK Multi-Asset while also stepping into the role of CIO.
Since becoming part of the Multi-Asset team in 2009, Philip has been instrumental in the team's success, serving as Co-Manager of the Global Multi-Asset Portfolio range within SIS since its inception.
Philip’s appointment will further enhance the SIS proposition by ensuring alignment between the UK Multi-Asset team and the model portfolio service (MPS) range to create greater unification across all SIS solutions.
Created to cater for a wide range of clients' investment needs and risk profiles, SIS offers financial advisers access to a diverse selection of approaches across the full risk spectrum spanning active, blended, passive and sustainable strategies.
Schroders has managed multi-asset mandates for over nine decades and has over 145 dedicated professionals in the Multi-Asset Investments team, managing over £200 billion for clients worldwide[3].
