Schroders appoints Augustine Chipungu as UK Intermediary Media Relations Manager

Schroders has today, appointed Augustine “Gus” Chipungu to the role of UK Intermediary Media Relations Manager, joining its award-winning[1] in-house media relations team. Gus will be based at the Schroders’ head office in London, reporting to Estelle Bibby, Schroders Head of Media Relations. He joins from Buchanan Communications where he was a PR consultant.

Gus will be responsible for communicating Schroders’ Intermediary product offering, as well as related thematic campaigns and industry insights, primarily to the UK national and trade press as well as broadcast and social media.

Prior to joining Schroders, Gus was a corporate and financial PR consultant, first with Bell Pottinger, and subsequently Buchanan, a WPP Company, where he served as Associate Director until late November 2021. He brings many years of experience advising global multinational financial services institutions.
