Schroders in Indonesia


In Indonesia, Schroders' presence dates back to 1991. PT Schroder Investment Management Indonesia (''Schroders Indonesia'') is part of Schroders Plc and is licensed by Bapepam-LK (as hereinafter defined) as an investment manager with Investment Manager Licence No. KEP-04/PM/MI/1997 dated 25 April 1997.

We have a comprehensive range of investment products to help client meet their financial needs and aim to provide the highest quality service to all clients throughout the world. Schroders Indonesia manages funds aggregating IDR 65.36 trillion (as of June 2022) for its retail and institutional clients in Indonesia including pension funds, insurance companies and social foundations.

Michael T. Tjoajadi

President Director

Michael has experience in the fund management industry since 1991 and joined Schroders in 1996. Prior to joining Schroders, Michael worked as fund manager in BII Lend Lease. Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Technology from Hasanuddin University and holds investment manager representative license from the capital market authority based on Bapepam Chairman Decision number KEP-18/PM-PI/1995 dated April 19, 1995.

 

Francisco Lautan

Director

Francisco Lautan joined Schroders in 1995 and prior to that he spent his early career in the financial industry working for AIU and Barings for 5 and 4.5 years respectively. Francisco has a Bachelor degree in accountancy from Tarumanagara University and obtained his Investment Manager Representative license from the capital market authority based on Bapepam Chairman Decision number KEP-67/PM/IP/WMI/1998.

 

Irwanti, CFA

Director 

Irwanti has experience in the capital market since 2006. She joined Schroders in 2008 and started to involve in investment management function since 2011. Prior to joining Schroders, Irwanti was an equity analyst at Deutsche Bank Indonesia covering banking, property, plantation and consumer sectors. Prior to that, she worked as an accountant in Sydney, Australia for 4 years. Irwanti graduated from University of New South Wales, Sydney with a Master of Finance degree and a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Irwanti holds investment management representative license from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and she is a CFA charter holder.

 

Liny Halim

Director 

Liny has experience in capital market since 1990. Liny joined Schroders in 2009 and started to involve in investment management function since 2011. Prior to joining Schroders, Liny had worked in Baring, ING and Macquarie Securities. In 1995, Liny raked the number 1 analyst by Institutional Investor Survey, while in 1994 she was ranked number 3 by Asia Money for overall strategy, banking and automotive sector. Liny graduated from California State University of Sacramento with MBA and BSc degrees and was included in the Dean’s Honor List. Liny holds investment manager representative license based on Bapepam Chairman Decision number KEP-12/BL/WMI/2011 dated February 7, 2011.

Susan soh

President Commissioner

Susan Soh is Head of Asia Pacific for Schroders. She is also a member of Schroders’ Group Management Committee (GMC). Susan is responsible for the strategy, management, and oversight of Schroders businesses across the Asia Pacific. She holds over 30 years of financial industry experience, spanning across different areas of investment banking before specialising in asset management.  Susan currently serves as a Member of the Advisory Board for the Singapore Green Finance Centre, of which Schroders is one of the founding members. Susan was conferred the Institute of Banking & Finance (IBF) Distinguished Fellow (Fund Management) award in 2015. She currently sits on the Executive Committee of Investment Management Association of Singapore (IMAS), serving as a Vice Chair from November 2016 before her appointment as the Chair from April 2019. Susan has also been a passionate advocate of raising industry standards and driving professional excellence. She has served as Council Member of IBF since April 2019, was previously a member of the IBF Standards Committee and chaired the IBF Fund Management Working Group from August 2013 to December 2019. In 2021, Susan has been appointed to the Board of Trustee of the Wealth Management Institute as well as Singapore Institute of Technology. Susan holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from National University of Singapore.
