Schroders among founding partners of Change the Race Ratio campaign to accelerate racial diversity in business

Schroders is proud to be one of the first signatories and founding partners of Change the Race Ratio, a campaign set up by the CBI to increase racial and ethnic participation in British businesses.

The latest Parker Review report into ethnic diversity in UK Boards shows more progress needs to be made by businesses on implementing its recommendations: 37% of FTSE 100 and 69% of FTSE 250 companies surveyed still do not have any ethnic minority representation on their boards.

Schroders is campaigning to Change the Race Ratio and will start by setting targets for greater racial and ethnic diversity across the business. This is accompanied by a commitment to publish targets and our progress towards them.

Faye Farrant, Head of Talent and Inclusion at Schroders, commented:

“At Schroders, we believe that diversity of thought is critical to succeeding in modern business. As a founding partner of this new campaign Change The Race Ratio, we are committed to accelerating that change.”

Schroders is committed to promoting diversity, and is already a member of the Women in Finance Charter, The Diversity Project, OUTstanding, and the Business Disability Forum amongst many others. It is also a proud Stonewall Diversity Champion.
