Schroders as founding members celebrate 75 signatories of the Change the Race Ratio

The Change the Race Ratio, of which Schroders was one of the first signatories and a founding partner, has reached 75 signatories as the campaign to increase racial and ethnic participation in British business continues to gain traction.

The initiative, which was launched by the CBI last year, aims to drive change with the help of a peer group of business leaders.

Schroders is campaigning to Change the Race Ratio with a focus on setting targets for greater racial and ethnic diversity across the firm. This is accompanied by a commitment to publish targets and our progress towards meeting them.

Faye Farrant, Head of Talent and Inclusion at Schroders, said:

“As a founding partner of this new campaign Change The Race Ratio, we are committed to accelerating that change and are really encouraged to see this initiative gain so much traction in such a short space of time with it now being supported by 75 signatories.”

Schroders is committed to promoting diversity, and is already a member of the Women in Finance Charter, The Diversity Project and the Business Disability Forum amongst many others. It is also a proud Stonewall Diversity Champion and in 2020 pledged it’s support to the Race at Work Charter

Schroders is also a member of the Valuable 500 Initiative; the largest network of global chief executives determined to embed disability inclusion throughout the whole business supply chain and was also recently recognised as a business leader by Bloomberg’s Gender Equality Index 2021.
