Jason Lai
CEO Wealth Management, Asia
Jason joined Schroders in 2019 as CEO, Asia for Wealth Management, where he is responsible for the management and overall strategic development of the business across the region, and where he serves as a member of the group’s Wealth Management Executive Committee. This followed the acquisition of the wealth management business of Thirdrock Group by Schroders. Jason was the Founder and CEO of Thirdrock Group, a leading Asian independent asset manager, between 2010 and 2019. Prior to that he was Head of China at ABN AMRO Private Bank in Hong Kong, where he spearheaded various North Asian strategic initiatives while advising some of Asia’s wealthiest families. Jason served as a military pilot with the Republic of Singapore Air Force. He has a Bachelor of Architecture from the National University of Singapore, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture from the Architectural Association of London.

Markus Schuettler
Head of Operations
Markus started his career in the Banking industries in the early 90s where he joined a German bank as a management trainee. After graduating from the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences Business & Law in Business Administration, he decided to move to Singapore in 2003.
Markus worked for various international institutions and gained experiences in various fields for example as the Operations Manager for a Merchant Bank (DZ Privatbank) where he plays a lead role in the identification and implementation of key initiatives that relate to the operations workflow enhancements and processes. He later moved on to Amicorp, an International Trust Company as a Key Account Manager for Private Client Services. He joined Schroders in early 2013.

Ranjiv Raman
Head of Private Assets and Equities, Asia
Ranjiv joined in 2009 and has more than 15 years’ experience in financial markets where he was a strategist for Asia at Aberdeen Asset Management Singapore from 2001. Ranjiv later became the Head of Investment Advisory for BSI Bank Ltd in Singapore from 2007 – 2009. He has a Master’s degree of Business Administration in Finance with an emphasis on Financial Engineering from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management, and is a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Wisconsin.

Jasper Lai
Head of Client Advisory, Asia
Jasper joined Schroders in 2019 as Head of Client Advisory. He started his career at Citibank in 1996 and was instrumental in building the Consumer FX franchise across the region, while spearheading various strategic initiatives as Managing Director and Head of Foreign Exchange Business for Asia Pacific. In 2015 he moved to Thirdrock Capital as Head of Client Advisory and Mandates, where he worked with management and the client advisory team to set the overall client service strategy and establish performance goals aligning to the business plan. He graduated from the Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree.

Gavin Yeo
Head of Compliance Asia
Gavin joined Schroders in 2019 as Head of Compliance Asia. He has worked in the Compliance function for various international banks since 2004, predominantly in the Private Wealth space. In 2017, he ventured out of Private Wealth to join a Fintech firm which provided payments solutions to businesses. As the Head of AML Operations there, he was responsible for setting up the AML/Compliance framework and led a global Compliance team in the UK, Australia and Singapore.
Gavin graduated from the University of Western Australia and holds a Bachelor of Computer and Mathematical Science with a double major in Information Technology and Economics. He also holds an ICA Diploma in Compliance.

Marcus Loke
Head of Treasury
Marcus joined Schroders Treasury and Dealing Team in 2015 and was appointed Head of Treasury in 2017. He has worked in the Treasury space for over 20 years, moving through various regional and international banks throughout his career. During his career, he has provided advisory services from private banking customers to Central Banks focusing on FX solutions and Treasury products. Marcus holds a Master of Science in Financial Management from University of London.

Vincent Ee
Head of Investments, Asia
Vincent Ee joined Schroders in 2019 and is currently the Head of Investments, Asia. He is part of the global Wealth Management Investment Committee and chairs the Investment Committee for Asia where he leads the Asian investment team. Vincent is also directly responsible for the management of discretionary multi-asset mandates. Prior to joining Schroders, Vincent was at Thirdrock as the Head of Discretionary Portfolio Management. With over two decades of fund management experience, Vincent was previously Chief Investment Officer for the international business at Foord Asset Management. He has also been a fund manager at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, and co-founded Libra Capital Management, a Greater China-focused equity long-short fund. Vincent, whose career began at HSBC Asset Management in both their Hong Kong and New York research teams, holds a B.Sc (Economics) in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science and is a CFA Charter Holder. He currently serves on the investment committees of the Community Foundation of Singapore and Raffles Institution.

Arthur Fong
Managing Director
Arthur joined Schroders as a Senior Relationship Manager in 2019, following the acquisition of the wealth management business of Thirdrock Group. Arthur was a Senior Client Advisor at Thirdrock from 2017 and has close to three decades of banking experience, mostly in private banking. Prior to Thirdrock, Arthur was a Managing Director at the Bank of Singapore and held Singapore-based leadership roles at global private banks including Credit Suisse, Citi and UBS. In 2014, Arthur was awarded the title of “IBF Fellow” by the Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF). The title recognises the contribution of key practitioners and thought leaders in the financial industry. Arthur previously served as an elected Member of the Singapore Parliament and holds a BSc in Finance and Management from the University of Oregon.

Francis Lim
Managing Director
Francis Lim joined Schroders Wealth Management team as a Senior Relationship Manager in December 2019. He brings with him more than 17 years of experience in the Private Banking Industry. He first started his Wealth Management career with top tier Financial Institutions such as UBS and Citibank. Francis Lim joined Schroders Wealth Management from Bank of Singapore. Prior to that, he has spent more than a decade in Credit Suisse, as a trusted advisor to ultra-high net worth individuals and their families. Francis Lim graduated from The University of Queensland in Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting & Finance.

Leland Timblick
Managing Director
Leland joined Schroders as a Senior Relationship Manager in 2019, following the acquisition of the wealth management business of Thirdrock Group. Leland was a Senior Client Advisor at Thirdrock from 2019. Prior to that, he was an Executive Director and Head of Equities Financial Advisory at Vontobel, where he co-managed the bank’s Asian structured product business. He previously held similar roles in various financial institutions, including Macquarie, HSBC, Morgan Stanley and UBS. Leland graduated from the London School of Economics with a BSc in Philosophy.

Caroline Liew
Executive Director
Caroline has over 30 years of wealth management experience looking after wealthy families, entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals in South East Asia. She has worked with some of the biggest firms in the industry, such as Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, Prudential and Fortis Private Bank. She joined Schroders in 2009 and holds a professional qualification from The Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators.

Chua Eng Leong
Executive Director
Eng Leong joined Schroders in July 2019 as a Senior Relationship Manager and an Executive Director. Prior to joining Schroders, he was Chief Investment Officer of POET Investment Holdings. He has over 20 years of banking experience. He has worked in private banking at Standard Chartered and Julius Baer, retail banking at HSBC and corporate and investment banking at DBS. He also advised private individuals and family office clients at OCBC/Bank of Singapore.
He graduated from the University Of San Francisco with a BSc in Business Administration in Management in 1995. During his career, he has worked closely with both high net worth individuals and companies.

Max White
Executive Director
Max relocated to Singapore from the Schroders Wealth Management London office (Cazenove Capital) in September 2018 and he specialises in advising UK expatriate clients and entrepreneurs, Trust Companies and Family Offices. Max joined Cazenove Capital in 2017 as part of the transfer of C. Hoare & Co.’s Wealth Management business, where he had worked since 2014. He started his career at Morgan Stanley & Co. International in London. After 8 years, he moved to Berenberg to start their London private banking business.
Max is a graduate of the University of Sheffield in the UK and Allegheny College, Pennsylvania, in the US. He is licensed as an Appointed Representative under the SFA and FAA in Singapore. In the UK he holds the Private Client Investment Advice and Management qualification (PCIAM) and is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute for Securities and Investment. Max has over 15 years of investment experience.

Megan Tan
Executive Director
Megan joined Schroders as a Senior Relationship Manager in 2019, following the acquisition of the wealth management business of Thirdrock Group. Megan was a Client Advisor at Thirdrock. Prior to that, she spent over 12 years in private wealth management in Singapore at both Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, providing investment advice to individuals and families in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. Megan has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore.

Nikhil Niyogi
Executive Director
Nikhil joined Schroders in 2019 following the acquisition of the wealth management business of Thirdrock Group. While at Thirdrock Capital, he served as Senior Director & Client Advisor focusing on covering regional corporate & ultra-high net worth clients. Today, he also assists his clients in managing customized segregated client mandates for both single and multi-family offices. Through his 16 years of experience in financial services, Nikhil has worked with some of the leading banking & investment teams across Asia at Citibank, Merrill Lynch, Barclay’s Wealth, and Deutsche Bank AG. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (Hon.) from the University of Calcutta.

Rainer Teo
Executive Director
Rainer joined Schroders as a Senior Relationship Manager in 2019, following the acquisition of the wealth management business of Thirdrock Group. Rainer served as Client Advisor at Thirdrock since 2017. Prior to Thirdrock, he worked in wealth management at One Asia Investment Partners, ABN AMRO and Credit Suisse. Rainer started his career in the global wealth management arm of Citibank. He has a Masters in Applied Finance from Monash Business School and a Bachelor of Computing from Monash University.

Richard Lewis
Executive Director
Richard joined Schroders as a Senior Relationship Manager in 2019, following the acquisition of the wealth management business of Thirdrock Group. Richard served as a Client Advisor at Thirdrock since 2017. Previously, he was Director and co-Head of Wealth Management at One Asia Investment Partners and an Executive Director of Javelin Wealth Management. Richard has over 15 years of international experience in private banking and wealth management and has worked for ANZ in Australia, Standard Chartered Private Bank in Singapore and London as well as Coutts & Co in Singapore. He has a Diploma in Financial Planning from Kaplan Australia and an Advanced Diploma in Wealth Management from Singapore Management University.

Jacqueline Yeo
Director
Jacqueline started with UBS AG, Singapore, Operations team doing client documentation and payments in 2006. In 2008, she took on the opportunity to move to the markets, covering the Australia and Indonesia desk and in 2012, when she rejoined UBS, she supported the Thai Desk. She was with Coutts Singapore for 2 years (2010-2012). She has a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Finance from RMIT-SIM.

Jeffrey Choa
Director
Jeff has over 25 years of banking experience, from senior leadership roles to being a trusted advisor of ultra-high net worth individuals and institutions. Jeff joined Schroders Wealth Management Singapore in 2014 and has been part of its Diversity and Inclusion Council since 2019. He started his career in Citibank Manila in 1994 and has held senior management positions from 2003 as CEO of Citicorp Financial Services and Insurance Brokerage, and later in 2005 as CEO of Citibank Savings, a 36–branch retail bank in the Philippines. Jeff relocated to Singapore in 2008 and headed the Philippine team for Credit Suisse Private Banking, and later joined ANZ Singapore in 2010 as head of its Philippine and Thailand teams. Jeff has a BBA degree from York University (Schulich School of Business), Toronto, Canada, and actively supports charitable causes in his personal capacity.

Mike Lim
Director
Mike joined Schroders as a Relationship Manager in July 2019. He has over two decades of experience in Operations, Business Development, Supply Chain Management and Sales & Marketing. He has established and managed partner relationships across Asia, the Middle East and Russia. Mike graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) and also has a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship.

Vivian Ong
Director
Vivian joined Schroders Wealth Management in December 2019 as a Relationship Manager. She has over a decade of experience in the Private Banking Industry, managing and servicing Ultra-high net worth clients. Prior to her current role in Schroders, she has worked for UBS, Credit Suisse and Bank of Singapore. Vivian graduated from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Banking & Finance.

Angela Fischer
Relationship Management Assistant
Angela is supporting the Directors in managing the clients’ wealth by providing high quality services and developing strong relationship by attending to their financial needs. She has more than 20 years of experience in the private banking industry in Singapore. Prior to her current role with Schroders, Angela was a Relationship Manager at DZ Privatbank assisting the Indonesian Team Head. Her prior experience also includes Relationship Management at Commerzbank South East Asia.

Catherine Ang
Relationship Management Assistant
Catherine joined Schroders as a Relationship Management Assistant in 2019, following the acquisition of the wealth management business of Thirdrock Group. She served as Client Manager at Thirdrock since 2017. She has more than 20 years of experience in the Private Banking industry in Asia, supporting client coverage teams. Previously, she worked for Goldman Sachs. She graduated with a Diploma in Business Studies from Ngee Ann Polytechnic in 1983 and obtained the Wealth Management certificate issued by IBF in 2015.

Chloe Choe
Relationship Management Assistant
Chloe joined Schroders in 2020 as Relationship Management Assistant. She has over a decade of banking experience in various banking functions across client service, retail banking sales as well as private wealth management, while working at UOB, DBS Bank and Standard Chartered Private Bank. Chloe started her career in the private banking industry in 2008 with DBS Private Bank, where she worked closely with the Team Lead of Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia markets, servicing ultra-high net worth clients.

Chloe Lu
Relationship Management Assistant
Chloe joined Schroders in 2020 as Relationship Management Assistant. She has over a decade of client management experience and was most recently Client Advisor Assistant at UBS AG, servicing ultra-high net worth clients. Chloe has also held similar roles in HSBC Private Bank, Coutts & Co Ltd and DBS Private Bank, where she worked in Indonesia and North Asia markets. Chloe graduated from the National University of Singapore and holds a Bachelor of Arts major in Economics and Southeast Asian Studies.

Gloria Tan
Relationship Management Assistant
Gloria joined Schroders in 2019 as Relationship Management Assistant. She has over 2 decades of banking experience performing diverse functions in investment sales, client service, sales surveillance and compliance at prestigious banks as such HSBC and Citigroup. For the past 12 years as an Assistant Relationship Manager with UBS, VP Bank, Standard Chartered Private Bank and Bank Julius Baer, she enjoyed the seamless partnerships with Private Bankers to serve HNW and UHNW clients.

June Tham
Relationship Management Assistant
June joined Schroders in 2011 as a Relationship Management Assistant. She has over a decade of wealth management experience and is supporting the Executive Directors in managing the clients’ wealth by providing high quality services and developing strong relationship by attending to their financial needs. Prior to joining Schroders, June had been working for Merrill Lynch International Bank, Citigroup, BNP Paribas Wealth Management and OCBC. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the National University of Singapore.

William Toh
Relationship Management Assistant
William joined Schroders in 2020 as Relationship Management Assistant. He brings with him extensive experience in client management and investment management and was most recently Marketing Associate at Bank of Singapore. Prior to that, he has held various positions in middle office at the investment banking arm of Barclays Bank PLC. William holds a Master of Business Administration, major in Finance from Singapore Management University and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics, with a Financial Mathematics minor from the National University of Singapore.

Winnie Leong
Relationship Management Assistant
Winnie joined Schroders in 2019 as a Relationship Management Assistant, following the acquisition of the wealth management business of Thirdrock Group. She was a pioneer member of Thirdrock, serving as Client Manager since 2010. She has over a decade of wealth management experience. Her career in the private banking industry began in 2000 with Coutts Singapore, followed by HSBC Private Bank (Suisse) SA, where she worked closely with Head of Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Philippines markets, servicing ultra-high net worth clients.

Eric Goh
Head of Investment Advisory, Asia
Eric has more than 26 years of private banking experience in investment advisory, client relationship management, business team building and thought leadership. Eric joined Schroders in 2019 as Head of Investment Advisory and Senior Client Advisor, following the acquisition of the wealth management business of Thirdrock Group. Eric served as Head of Investment Strategy and Senior Client Advisor at Thirdrock since 2016. Previously, he was Head of Investments for Southeast Asia at JP Morgan Private Wealth Management. Prior to JP Morgan, he was Head of Investment Advisory at BNP Wealth Management and held similar roles at UBS Wealth Management and HSBC Private Bank. Eric holds a Master of Science in Wealth Management from Singapore Management University and a Bachelor of Accountancy from the National University of Singapore. He is also an adjunct lecturer at the Singapore Management University and a Certified Financial Planner.

Ranjiv Raman
Head of Private Assets and Equities, Asia
Ranjiv joined in 2009 and has more than 15 years’ experience in financial markets where he was a strategist for Asia at Aberdeen Asset Management Singapore from 2001. Rachel Lim
Portfolio Manager
Rachel joined the bank in 2017 and has around 10 years of experience in the financial industry. Earlier in her career, she was equity analyst and part of the portfolio management team at a Middle Eastern asset manager.
She subsequently accumulated experience in multiple asset classes as an investment consultant at Credit Suisse, and leveraging off her business and financial acumen, she also had the opportunity to provide business and financial analysis of private projects and companies as an independent consultant.
She is a CFA charter holder, graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science and from INSEAD with a Master’s degree of Business Administration.

Michelle Cheung
Discretionary Portfolio Manager
Michelle is a Portfolio Manager at Schroders specialising in Fixed Income investments. She has the privilege to work with some of the Ultra High net worth families in the region, assisting them with income focused investments and philanthropic efforts. Prior to joining Schroders in 2021, she was a Fixed Income Discretionary Portfolio Manager at the Wealth divisions of UBS and Deutsche Bank in Singapore. Before working in Singapore, Michelle was a desk analyst advisor at HSBC Private Bank and a credit analyst at HSBC Asset Management in Hong Kong. She began her fixed income career on the marketing and client servicing side of the business at PIMCO and Western Asset Management in the U.S., looking after endowment, central bank and public pension plan clients. Michelle has over 15 years of investment experience and holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia. She earned her undergraduate degree from McGill University. In her free time, she is an avid Mindfulness practitioner. Michelle is a CFA Charterholder.

Zachary Ong
Investment Analyst
Zachary joined Schroders in 2019 as an Investment Analyst. Prior to joining Schroders, he was an equity analyst with Value Partners Group where he specialised in fundamental analysis of ASEAN and India equity markets. Zachary graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a degree in Business (major in banking & finance).

Chen Jinghan
Investment Analyst
Jinghan joined Schroders in 2019 as an Investment analyst. Before joining Schroders, he was an equity analyst with Ascapia Capital, focusing on investment analysis and valuation. Jinghan is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and graduated from Singapore Management University with a degree in Business and a major in Finance.

Rick Low
Investment Analyst
Rick joined Schroders’ Investment team in 2021. Before Schroders, he spent 3 years with Haitong International (Singapore) where he was responsible for investing the proprietary capital of the firm, setting up its asset management business and launching new investment funds. Prior to Haitong, Rick was part of the investment team at a Singapore based Independent Asset Management firm, providing both discretionary and advisory investment solutions to institutional and private clients globally. Rick received his Master’s degree in Finance from Imperial College London and graduated with an Honours degree in Business Management from King’s College London.
