Christmas Quiz 2019: Take 1
Enter our festive value quiz for a chance to win £100 donation to charity
Over the coming days, The Value Perspective is running two separate, if identically structured, quizzes. This one, in the spirit of goodwill to all, offers the chance to win a £100 donation to a registered charity of your choice while the other, in the spirit of goodwill to yourself, offers the chance to win a copy of one of the books we have discussed this year in the context of value investing, Thinking in Bets by Annie Duke.
Each quiz will comprise 15 questions – four picture clues and four anagrams indicating the names of eight different songs that have been at the top of the UK singles charts at Christmas at some point since 1951; two picture clues and three cryptic crossword clues leading to the names of five people who have cropped up in our articles over the course of 2019; and two very silly Catchphrase-style ‘say what you see’ type cartoons.
If you find yourself stuck on the people namechecked this year, here on The Value Perspective, the date by each of those clues relates to an article in which they appear. To take part in the quiz below, just click here and fill in your answers where indicated. All correct entries received by noon on 31 December 2019 will be included in the relevant draw to win the book or the £100 donation to a registered charity of your choice.
Here on The Value Perspective, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all our visitors for their continued support and to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year.
You must be over the age of 18 to enter. Full terms and conditions can be read here.
