Flexibility & transparency

Exchange trading, intraday pricing and regular holdings disclosure may provide institutional investors with greater visibility and flexibility when implementing and monitoring exposures.

Why Schroders for active ETFs?

At Schroders, we’ve navigated social and economic change for over 220 years.

Underpinning this longevity has been the ability to meet clients’ needs through innovative and relevant solutions that deliver excellent long-term investment opportunities.

We believe that active ETFs continue this tradition through providing an innovative vehicle for clients to access our proven investment capabilities. This includes deep asset class expertise, exceptional talent and an efficient global operating platform.

Our approach to active ETFs is no different to our other offerings and is built around delivering consistent, long-term growth for our clients. By focusing on the intrinsic value and potential of investments, we endeavour to provide resilient, long-term returns despite market fluctuations. As an active ETF provider, we offer both active equity ETFs and active fixed income ETFs to meet varied investor needs.

Our strategies

  • Combining fundamental insight, quantitative analysis and investment expertise, our active equity ETF strategies are designed to uncover opportunities across equity markets through disciplined security selection and robust risk management.

  • Our active fixed income ETF strategies combine specialist research, quantitative tools and investment expertise to identify investment grade opportunities across bond markets. Disciplined security selection and portfolio construction are supported by robust risk management

How should investors assess an active ETF?

The ETF structure is only one part of the assessment. In this video, Tom Stephens, Head of ETFs at Schroders Group, outlines a practical framework for evaluating active ETF strategies – from the source of potential value and portfolio construction to governance, liquidity, implementation and the strategy’s intended role in a portfolio.
