Family Office Conference at London Business School

Schroders Family Office Service are proud to sponsor London Business School’s third Family Office conference

Family Offices have grown exponentially over the last decade and are now estimated to control some $10 trillion in assets. London Business School’s Family Office conference, held on the 25th and 26th February in London, will provide a unique opportunity for family office practitioners and academics to share knowledge and ideas in a “safe space” environment.

The conference is organised by London Business School’s Institute of Entrepreneurship and Private Capital will cover a wide range of topics relevant to family offices, including family dynamics, family governance and investment.

On the second day of the conference, Schroders Family Office Service will host a series of breakout sessions on setting up a family office. The talks will include practical guidance, based on our experience of working with other families, on how to decide if your family would benefit from a family office and, if so, how to approach it.

The Family Office conference programme was developed in consultation with a steering group comprising single-family offices and representatives of business-owning families including: Pentland Group; Mary Oppenheimer Daughters; CP Holdings; Ordway Selections; Grosvenor Family Office; Wates Family Office; Hambleden Capital and Cayzer Trust Company.

“We are delighted to sponsor the third Family Office conference held by London Business School’s Institute of Entrepreneurship and Private Capital.

The event will cover a wide range of topics relevant to single-family offices and high net worth, multi-generational families. Attendees will have the chance to network with peers facing similar opportunities and challenges and participated in joint learning exercises.

Schroders Family Office Service works with established family offices as well as families considering setting up a family office. We build strong relationships with families and their existing advisers, drawing on both our expertise across investment, wealth planning, philanthropy and our deep knowledge of the challenges that families can face.”
