Meet our Group Executive Committee (ExCo)
The ExCo comprises the senior management team who have primary responsibility for the development and delivery of the Group’s strategy. It is an advisory committee to the Group Executive.
Meagen Burnett
Chief Financial Officer
Meagen joined Schroders in January 2023 as Chief Operating Officer. In January 2025, she became Chief Financial Officer responsible for overseeing the Group’s finance function including tax and treasury as well as operations, technology, commercial transformation, and corporate services.
Prior to joining Schroders, Meagen spent 11 years within M&G plc (previously Prudential plc), initially as the COO of the South African Investment business and most recently in the UK as the COO of global Asset Management. Previously holding various operational, audit, risk and IT control roles within JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and KPMG.

Oliver Gregson
CEO, Wealth Management
Oliver Gregson joined in 2025 as CEO, Wealth Management and is responsible for the Group’s global wealth strategy and oversight of Cazenove Capital, Benchmark and Schroders Personal Wealth.
Prior to joining, Oliver worked at J.P. Morgan Private Bank as Regional Head of the United Kingdom, Channel Islands and Ireland where he repositioned the business and drove the bank’s expansion into new markets, that delivered material strategic growth. His career in Wealth spans over 20 years, working at HSBC, Citigroup, UBS and Barclays Wealth, holding senior roles across the UK, Europe and international markets.

Oliver Gregson
CEO, Wealth Management
Oliver Gregson joined in 2025 as CEO, Wealth Management and is responsible for the Group’s global wealth strategy and oversight of Cazenove Capital, Benchmark and Schroders Personal Wealth.

Ed Houghton
Group Head of Strategy and Investor Engagement
Edward Houghton joined Schroders in 2025 as Group Head of Strategy and Investor Engagement. He is responsible for developing and articulating the Group’s strategy with the Board and Group Executive Committee, for corporate development and for investor relations.
Ed served as Group Strategy & Investor Relations Director at Legal & General from 2019 to 2024. Before that, he was Managing Director at Bernstein, where he co-led a top-ranked sector team covering European insurers and asset managers. From 2003 to 2011, Ed held various senior strategy and finance roles at Aviva, covering both Group and European markets.

Ed Houghton
Group Head of Strategy and Investor Engagement
Edward Houghton joined Schroders in 2025 as Group Head of Strategy and Investor Engagement. He is responsible for developing and articulating the Group’s strategy with the Board and Group Executive Committee, for corporate development and for investor relations.
Ed served as Group Strategy & Investor Relations Director at Legal & General from 2019 to 2024. Before that, he was Managing Director at Bernstein, where he co-led a top-ranked sector team covering European insurers and asset managers. Sonia Jenkins
Chief People Officer
Sonia joined Schroders in 2020 and was appointed Chief People Officer in September 2024. She works with senior management on the issues that affect our people and culture throughout the business.
Prior to joining Schroders Sonia worked at Investcorp and Deloitte in senior advisory roles, living and working across five countries and three continents. She studied Economics and qualified as a chartered accountant whilst at Deloitte.

She also leads the public markets business, ensuring that Schroders delivers for clients across Equities, Fixed Income, Multi-Asset and Solutions.
Prior to joining Schroders, she was a Fund Manager at Insight Investment from 2005 to 2007, where she managed a global macro absolute return fund. She was also Head of Asset Allocation at Deutsche Asset Management from 1997 to 2005 where she managed asset allocation in the UK and a fund manager of the Deutsche tactical asset allocation fund.

Richard Oldfield
Group Chief Executive
Richard joined Schroders in October 2023 as the Chief Financial Officer and was appointed as Chief Executive Officer on 8 November 2024. He is responsible for the management of the overall business and strategic development of the Group.
Prior to joining Schroders, he was at PwC as Network Vice Chairman and Global Markets Leader. Richard had responsibility for all lines of service, major client and industry programmes, building and leading teams across multiple countries to drive financial performance, client portfolio optimisation and ensuring delivery of strategic projects. Richard was also on PwC's UK Executive Board for five years during which time he was Head of Clients and Markets and latterly Head of Strategy and Communications.

Matt Oomen
Global Head of Client Group
Matt joined Schroders in August 2025 as Global Head of Client Group. He leads our client-facing teams across all our regions: Sales, Client Services, Product and Marketing. Responsible for client experience and driving forward our sales capabilities, he represents clients at the highest level of the organisation.
Before joining Schroders, Matt was Global Head of Distribution at US-headquartered BNY Investments responsible for product strategy, marketing and sales across 30 countries. Karine Szenberg

Karine joined Schroders in 2014, she was appointed as Executive Vice Chair in August 2025. Based in Paris, she is responsible for the Group’s strategic partnerships and new transformational agreements which operate across business lines and geographies. She works with the management teams of our joint ventures and associates to ensure optimal value from those relationships. Prior to this role Karine was Global Head of Client Group, Global Head of Product and Marketing, Head of Europe and Head of France.
Before joining Schroders, Karine spent 14 years with J.P. Morgan Asset Management, including as Head of France. Prior to this, she was a Senior Sales - Institutional Clients at Société Générale Asset Management.

Neil Tomlinson
Group General Counsel
Neil joined Schroders in 2011 and worked in a variety of roles across the Legal and Compliance functions before becoming Group General Counsel in May 2023. He is responsible for managing legal risk and providing legal support across Schroders globally, working closely with the business leads and teams who are responsible for product and investment capabilities. Neil is also responsible for the Group’s Governance function.
Prior to joining Schroders, Neil was senior counsel at a London-based hedge fund firm, and prior to that worked in private practice advising clients on a wide range of financial services laws and regulations.

He is responsible for developing the firm’s private markets business on a global scale - delivering world-class investment solutions in private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and private credit.
Prior to joining Schroders, he was Chief Executive Officer of HQ Capital. Previously he worked at UBS in various senior management role, e.g. serving in the Executive Committee of UBS in Germany. Georg started his career at Boston Consulting Group and holds a doctorate and master's degree in business and economics from University St. Gallen, Switzerland and Stockholm School of Economics.
