Investment Management for MPF schemes

Together working for your retirement

Why Schroders

With over 200 years of investment experience, Schroders has been providing retirement and investment management for surplus funds in corporations in Hong Kong since 1974 and has established a business unit dedicated to servicing member choice plans.

Since the launch of Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes (“MPF”) in December 2000, we have been managing a series of MPF-approved pooled investment funds (“APIFs”) which are important building blocks for MPF investments. We also offer strategies generating active alpha or aims at comparable or even better return than index as well as custom investment solutions to MPF providers.

With our expertise in investing across the globe, we are one of the key investment managers for the various MPF schemes in the market.

Shaping MPF in the eMPF Era

As Hong Kong enters the eMPF era, MPF investing is becoming more transparent, more accessible—and more comprehensive.

At Schroders, we believe better member outcomes depend not on more choice or more data, but on clearer decision‑making and better investment design.

The videos below set out our perspective on two questions defining the future of MPF investing.
