Frederic Wakeman
Independent non-executive Director
Frederic was appointed as an independent non-executive Director in January 2024.
Frederic was Managing Partner and Head of TMT at Advent International, a leading global private equity investor. During his 23-year careers, Frederic managed Advent's London and New York offices and served on both its European and North American Investment Advisory Committees. Frederic brings insights into the sustainability and conservation sectors. He also brings experience of private equity and private markets more generally, which is of great benefit as we continue to build Schroders Capital.
External appointments: Founder of Blue Endeavor Ventures and Co-Founder of Scale-Up Fund.
Committee membership: Chair of Remuneration Committee and Member of the Nomination and Governance Committee and Audit and Risk Committees.
