Jason Lai
CEO Wealth Management, Asia
Jason joined Schroders in 2019 as CEO, Asia for Wealth Management, where he is responsible for the management and overall strategic development of the business across the region, and where he serves as a member of the group’s Wealth Management Executive Committee. This followed the acquisition of the wealth management business of Thirdrock Group by Schroders. Jason was the Founder and CEO of Thirdrock Group, a leading Asian independent asset manager, between 2010 and 2019. Prior to that he was Head of China at ABN AMRO Private Bank in Hong Kong, where he spearheaded various North Asian strategic initiatives while advising some of Asia’s wealthiest families. Jason served as a military pilot with the Republic of Singapore Air Force. He has a Bachelor of Architecture from the National University of Singapore, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture from the Architectural Association of London.

Robert Ridland
Head of Wealth Management, Hong Kong
Robert is Head of Wealth Management in Hong Kong. He joined in May 2006 and is also a Portfolio Director specialising in investment for high net worth individuals and complex family groups. After graduating in 2003 from Edinburgh University (MA Hons History), he worked initially at Penrose Financial doing marketing for institutional fund management companies and hedge funds. A member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and registered by the Securities & Futures Commission in Hong Kong, Robert has the CISI Diploma and the IMC qualification. He has a total of 13 years' investment experience and is a Responsible Officer for our Type 1, 4 and 9 SFC licenses. Robert is a Director of Schroder & Co (Hong Kong) Ltd.

Jasper Lai
Head of Client Advisory, Asia
Jasper joined Schroders in 2019 as Head of Client Advisory. He started his career at Citibank in 1996 and was instrumental in building the Consumer FX franchise across the region, while spearheading various strategic initiatives as Managing Director and Head of Foreign Exchange Business for Asia Pacific. In 2015 he moved to Thirdrock Capital as Head of Client Advisory and Mandates, where he worked with management and the client advisory team to set the overall client service strategy and establish performance goals aligning to the business plan. He graduated from the Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree.

Gavin Yeo
Head of Compliance Asia
Gavin joined Schroders in 2019 as Head of Compliance Asia. He has worked in the Compliance function for various international banks since 2004, predominantly in the Private Wealth space. In 2017, he ventured out of Private Wealth to join a Fintech firm which provided payments solutions to businesses. As the Head of AML Operations there, he was responsible for setting up the AML/Compliance framework and led a global Compliance team in the UK, Australia and Singapore.
Gavin graduated from the University of Western Australia and holds a Bachelor of Computer and Mathematical Science with a double major in Information Technology and Economics. He also holds an ICA Diploma in Compliance.

Sandy Dudgeon
Director
Sandy joined the group in January 2010 when Thornhill was acquired by Cazenove Capital. He was head of business development for the private wealth management business until moving to Hong Kong in 2013 to open the Wealth Management Office. A chartered accountant, Sandy joined Adam & Company as its first company secretary in 1983 and became deputy managing director in 1991. He joined Martin Currie in 1994 with responsibility for its UK mutual funds and subsequently became managing director of Thornhill in 2003. He is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute. His directorships have included Dunedin Enterprise Investment Trust plc (1998-2006) and Man Alternative Investments Ltd (2001-2004). He was a Steward of The Jockey Club from 2009-2012, and was re-appointed in January 2018.

Jelmer Kattevilder
Portfolio Director
Jelmer joined Schroders Wealth Management in April 2018 as a Portfolio Director. Jelmer started his career in 2007 within corporate banking at ABN Amro Bank in The Netherlands. He moved into the Private Banking division in 2010 and subsequently worked in various investment and client advisory roles for the bank. In 2014 Jelmer moved to Hong Kong with ABN Amro to act as a regional Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM) Counsellor managing- and advising on DPM mandates for High Net Worth individuals and families. Before joining Schroders, he also briefly worked for LGT Bank following the acquisition of ABN Amro in Asia. Jelmer graduated in 2007 from the Haarlem Business School in The Netherlands with a Bachelor in Economics. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM). He is licensed for type 1, 4 and 9 activity with the SFC in Hong Kong.

Geraldine Teo
Assistant Relationship Manager
Geraldine joined in August 2017 as Client Services Executive supporting the team in client servicing and operational aspects of the portfolios. After graduating in 2013 from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science (Real Estate), she worked initially with Savills (Singapore) Private Limited with the focus in commercial property leasing. Prior to her current role with Schroders Wealth Management, she began her private wealth management career with Credit Suisse, Singapore, Business Processing Services team in 2015 dealing with payments and securities transfer requests and clients’ static data changes.

Eric Goh
Head of Investment Advisory, Asia
Eric has more than 26 years of private banking experience in investment advisory, client relationship management, business team building and thought leadership. Eric joined Schroders in 2019 as Head of Investment Advisory and Senior Client Advisor, following the acquisition of the wealth management business of Thirdrock Group. Eric served as Head of Investment Strategy and Senior Client Advisor at Thirdrock since 2016. Previously, he was Head of Investments for Southeast Asia at JP Morgan Private Wealth Management. Prior to JP Morgan, he was Head of Investment Advisory at BNP Wealth Management and held similar roles at UBS Wealth Management and HSBC Private Bank. Eric holds a Master of Science in Wealth Management from Singapore Management University and a Bachelor of Accountancy from the National University of Singapore. He is also an adjunct lecturer at the Singapore Management University and a Certified Financial Planner.

Vincent Ee
Head of Investments, Asia
Vincent Ee joined Schroders in 2019 and is currently the Head of Investments, Asia. He is part of the global Wealth Management Investment Committee and chairs the Investment Committee for Asia where he leads the Asian investment team. Vincent is also directly responsible for the management of discretionary multi-asset mandates. Prior to joining Schroders, Vincent was at Thirdrock as the Head of Discretionary Portfolio Management. With over two decades of fund management experience, Vincent was previously Chief Investment Officer for the international business at Foord Asset Management. He has also been a fund manager at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, and co-founded Libra Capital Management, a Greater China-focused equity long-short fund. Vincent, whose career began at HSBC Asset Management in both their Hong Kong and New York research teams, holds a B.Sc (Economics) in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science and is a CFA Charter Holder. He currently serves on the investment committees of the Community Foundation of Singapore and Raffles Institution.

Ranjiv Raman
Head of Private Assets and Equities, Asia
Ranjiv joined in 2009 and has more than 15 years’ experience in financial markets where he was a strategist for Asia at Aberdeen Asset Management Singapore from 2001. Ranjiv later became the Head of Investment Advisory for BSI Bank Ltd in Singapore from 2007 – 2009. He has a Master’s degree of Business Administration in Finance with an emphasis on Financial Engineering from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management, and is a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Wisconsin.

Caspar Rock
Chief Investment Officer
Caspar is Chief Investment Officer. He chairs the Wealth Management Investment Committee, sits on the Cazenove Capital board and is also a member of the Schroder Wealth Management Executive Committee. He joined in 2016 from Architas Multi-Manager Ltd, part of the AXA group, where he was Chief Investment Officer and was responsible for all aspects of the investment activities, including investment philosophy, process and team. He also oversaw portfolio management at two of AXA group’s private banks. He previously headed the multi-manager business at AXA Framlington from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, he managed a range of directly invested equity and, was Head of European Equities at Framlington and a member of the Healthcare team.

Stuart Derrick
Head of Manager Selection
Stuart Derrick is Head of Manager Selection. He joined in 2004 as part of the charities team before later moving to the investment team to focus on fund selection. Stuart started his investment career at Baring Asset Management in 1998. He holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC), Private Client Investment Advice & Management (PCIAM) certificate and is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. He has also completed the London Business School Foundation and Endowment Asset Management Course.

Alex Smitten
Head of Fixed Income
Alex Smitten joined in 2000 where he managed the Income Trust for Charities and the UK Corporate Bond Fund. Alex is now Head of Fixed Income and is a member of the Investment Policy Committee. Prior to joining Cazenove Capital, he was at Intercapital, where he set up the agency bond broking desk. Alex spent nine years at TSB/Hill Samuel where he was responsible for proprietary bond activity on behalf of the Group. Alex graduated from City University with a degree in Banking and International Finance. He has 29 years of investment experience.
