Group Management Committee

Peter is responsible for the management of the overall business and strategic development of the Group.

Richard is responsible for financial management, risk management, tax, capital and treasury, human resources, corporate services and a range of operational areas. He is also chair of the Group Risk, Group Capital and Global Operations Committee.

Rory joined Schroders in 2008, and was Head of the UK and European team from 2014 to 2019. Rory is Co-Head of Investment alongside Johanna Kyrklund, and they’re both responsible for listed investments within Schroders Asset Management. Rory continues to manage the Equity division and has firmwide responsibility for the ESG team and Data Insights Unit. Previously, he was Continental European Portfolio Manager at Goldman Sachs Asset Management.

Meagen joined Schroders in January 2023 as the Deputy Group Chief Operating Officer (COO), responsible for groupwide operations, technology, workplace solutions and change delivery. Prior to Schroders, Meagen spent 11 years within M&G plc (previously Prudential plc), initially as the COO of the South African Investment business and most recently in the UK as the COO of global Asset Management. Meagen is a qualified Chartered Accountant and previously held various operational, audit, risk and IT control roles within JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and KPMG.

Andrew joined Schroders in 2013, as Head of US Multi-Sector and Fixed Income Solutions, following the acquisition of STW Fixed Income Management.  He was appointed as Global Head of the Fixed Income division in 2020, and manages assets across a multitude of strategies.  Prior to joining Schroders, he was previously a Portfolio Manager at AXA Investment Managers and Citigroup Asset Management.

Mary-Anne joined Cazenove Capital as CEO in 2001. Previously, she was Head of Private Client Service and Head of the Paris office for Baring Asset Management. She spent seven years in corporate finance at Baring Brothers, having started her career at Chase Manhattan Bank. Mary-Anne graduated from University College, London University, with a degree in Economics. She is a native French and Italian speaker.

Nigel joined Schroders in 2015, and is the Chief Risk Officer, responsible for groupwide risk management.  Prior to Schroders, Nigel spent 15 years at ABN AMRO Bank (then acquired by Royal Bank of Scotland), working in various roles including; CRO of Wealth Management Division, CRO of Coutts & Co, Group Head of Operational Risk at RBS and the Head of Credit Risk Reporting and Control at ABN AMRO. Previously, he worked for JP Morgan in London, Hong Kong and Tokyo in investment banking risk management.

Chris re-joined Schroders in January 2023, having previously worked in Schroders for over a decade from 2011, in roles including Australian Director and Head of Product and Distribution, Hong Kong CEO and Head of the Institutional Business for Asia Pacific, and then Australia CEO and Co-Head of Asia Pacific. During his time in Hong Kong, Chris was Chairman of the Pensions Committee and an Executive Committee member for the Investment Funds Association (IFA). He has also lectured in post graduate financial economics at the University of Sydney, and in 2022 was a Non Executive Director of IFM Investors, a major global infrastructure manager. Prior to joining Schroders, Chris was the Chief Executive Officer for NSW State Super, and has previous funds management experience through senior roles with two large Australian fund managers Perpetual Limited and Challenger Limited.

Peter joined Schroders in 2019. Over the past twenty years, he has held leadership roles in Wealth Management at UBS, Barclays and Tilney. He is responsible for the Wealth Management division.

Emma joined Schroders in 2007 and was appointed Global Head of Human Resources in November 2014. Prior to joining Schroders, she held various roles at Corus Group. She qualified as a chartered accountant with PwC in 1998. She works with senior management on the issues that affect our people and the development of talent throughout the business.

Louise joined Schroders in 2008 and was appointed Chief of Staff in 2016. Prior to joining Schroders, she formed the Scott King Partnership, an independent business consultancy. She has over 35 years’ experience in management, consulting and coaching. She is responsible for supporting the Group Chief Executive and management team in growing the business in the context of culture and strategy.

Andy joined Schroders in 2016, becoming the Global Head of Sustainable Investment in 2020. Andy has spent most of his career working in sustainable finance, including six years at Goldman Sachs where he was a Managing Director and Head of the GS SUSTAIN research team in London. Andy has driven our sustainability research and been the inventor, as well as inspiration behind proprietary tools such as SustainEx.

Johanna joined Schroders in 2007 as Head of UK Multi-Asset and became Global Head of Multi-Asset Investments in 2016. As Co-Head of Investment & Group Chief Investment Officer, Johanna oversees investment performance, philosophy and process for all asset classes (excluding private assets), reinforcing a culture of collaboration across all desks. She is responsible for investments on behalf of Multi-Asset clients globally and is the lead portfolio manager of the Schroder Diversified Growth Strategy. She previously worked at Insight Investment and Deutsche Asset Management in various fund management and asset allocation roles, specialising in tactical asset allocation strategies. Johanna is a member of the Cambridge University Investment Board and the Railpen Investment Board.

Phil joined Schroders in 1992, and during his 30 year tenure at the firm has had roles including; Head of Asset Manager Sales, UK Intermediary Business Development, European Marketing Director, Head of Business Development for closed-end funds, Global Financial Institutional Team and Head of UK Intermediary business and CEO of Schroder Unit Trusts. Phil moved from London to New York in March 2020, where he took on the role of Head of Institutional Distribution, North America overseeing direct sales, relationship management and consultant relations, and Canada. He became CEO of North America in January 2022.

Jamie joined Schroders in December 2019 as Global Head of Enterprise Technology, Digital and Innovation. He was announced as the Chief Technology Officer in December 2020. Prior to joining Schroders, Jamie held senior technology leadership positions in the retail sector including Digital and Retail Technology Director at The Arcadia Group, where he led and delivered numerous technology and digital transformation initiatives, and Group IT Director at Dune London. Jamie is also a Non-Executive Director of the software as a service ticketing company Spektrix.

Charles joined Schroders in 2017, and led the Product and Solutions division. He become Global Head of Investment in 2019, where he was responsible for the management and oversight of the public market investment platform. He recently became Group Head of Strategy and Solutions, and is responsible for our Global Solutions business, corporate development and relationships with key partners. He is also Chief Executive of Schroder Investment Management Ltd. Prior to joining Schroders, he held senior roles at BlackRock and its antecedent companies from 1988 to 2017, including Global COO for Fundamental Equities, Head of the EMEA Institutional Client Business and lastly as Head of the European Active investment platform.

James is distribution head for the UK and Latin America. In early 2019, James was acting Chief Executive of the new Wealth Joint Venture between Lloyds and Schroders, Schroders Personal Wealth. He returned to Schroders in October 2019 following his promotion. Prior to this, James was Co-Head of UK Intermediary Business at Schroders, Chief Executive of Schroder Unit Trusts and a non-executive Director of Benchmark Capital.

Beth joined Schroders in 2008 and worked in a variety of client channel media relations roles before becoming Head of Communications in 2014. She is now Global Head of Marketing and Communications, which involves articulating and delivering strategic vision for Marketing and Communications for the Group globally and working closely with the teams who are responsible for product development, strategy and investment capabilities, to provide insights which help the Group understand and anticipate client demand patterns and needs. Prior to Schroders, Beth held communications roles at Aviva Investors before moving to the UK in 2004. She spent her early career in corporate communications roles in Australia.

Karine has been appointed as Global Head of Product and Marketing as well as retaining her position as Head of Europe at Schroders, responsible for Schroders business across Continental Europe and the Middle East, based in Paris. She joined Schroders in 2014 as Country Head of France, and was responsible for the management and strategy of the firm in France. She is currently a member of the Group Management Committee, Director of Schroder Real Estate (France), a member of the Supervisory Board of Schroder Aida (infrastructure finance) and a board member of the APECI (Professional Association of Investment Advisory Firms, France). She is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Schroder Investment Management (Switzerland) AG. Prior to joining Schroders, Karine was with JP Morgan AM for 14 years, nine of which were as Head of France.

Howard joined Schroders in 2003 from Barclays where he held various roles including Group General Counsel and Board Secretary. He is responsible for the Group’s Compliance, Legal and Governance function.

Georg joined Schroders in May 2019 assuming the newly-created role of Global Head of Private Assets.  He is responsible for developing the firm’s private assets expertise on a global scale, drawing on over 20 years of experience.  Prior to joining Schroders, he was Chief Executive Officer of HQ Capital.
